june 4.08 whoop whoop! check it out: ken, erin, and the kind folks at the magnetic north theatre festival are making the BEST WISHES zine vol1:1 part of their event!
‘It so happens that last night I held a small meet n greet party in my St. John’s hotel room for some Newfoundland artists. In between bites of fish cakes and folk songs, I snatched the ‘zine off the coffee table and showed it someone. We opened the letters right there and began to read, becoming increasingly fascinated. As others in the party watched us we tore open me and me letters until finally twenty people or so were all sitting on the floor, the music for the most part abandoned, while we shared the letters and quoted to one another. Many people we so touched they begged to be allowed to keep particular letters as keepsakes. Jillian Keilly in particular kept Ben Stone’s letter: Jacob Zimmer’s and Alex MacLean’s were a real hit also.’ (ken cameron)

may 15.08 an article form of the next zine is now online at the top of the site. this is the version that was sent to the publishers of ‘impulse’ the magazine produced by the international theatre institute who requested to publish something from the current issue. a silk screened blueprint version and release party is forthcoming…
jan 08.08 work is still moving forward on the ‘Instructions’ zine. although it has been longer than we anticipated, we are very excited about where the final draft is going. if you need something until then, check out the audio feed in the podcast section. the list of contributers page has also been updated with the practitioners who helped us out with the recordings. thanks for checking in.
aug 25.07 construction is underway for vol1:2 ‘Instruction for Tomorrow’. Expect to see more changes to the site in the coming weeks for a release date sometime in September ’07.
may 15.07 whoop. a new letter from Keiersten tough has been added to the READ MORE page. Also, i am editing the podcast. once i figure out how to use the software, then i will upload it.
may 1.07 word up. dustin has been asked to be the key note speaker at this year’s nova scotia high school drama festival. he’ll be giving a brief talk based on the best wishes project. you can check it out thursday 6pm in the sir james dun theatre, yo.
april 8.07 zine release party is in the books. thanks to those that helped make the evening happen: rae, darcy, brad, kim, and becky. and, of course, thanks to the people who came out.
